#126 STANDING NUDE – Joseph Bernard was born in 1864 and died in 1933 having lived in the same village of Puy-en-Velay, France his entire life. He was awarded the rank of Chevalier in the Legion of Honor; the highest accolade awarded any artist. The STANDING NUDE is signed and dated, 1890 in the lower left corner.
